We were very sad to hear about your father death..for me you're father was very significant.last year i talked to him and asked about my childhood when I was evacuated from Negba and he could help me to know the details that i didn't know.
We had a special connection.
I remember him in London after i gave birth to my son Asaf.
I'll miss him.j
I'll remember a lot of memories with him through my childhood before he moved to America.
ינחם אותכם המקום.

Shalom David & Chana,
I want to express my condolences to you and your family for the lost of your father, father in law grand father.
Naphtali was a special and dear person who was like a brother to my grand mother Chana as they were cousins, but since she lost all her family in the war, and she survived with him and his sisters of the Lakes family in the same terrible working camp Plashov (which was shown in the film of Steven Spielberg "Schneider list") they where very close and this connection had been transmitted to us.
I will always remember my first visit in America, when I visited him after my army service in his house in Elizabeth,New Jersey almost 30 years ago.
He and Eva host me and my mother so kindly and generously. We met there one Sunday when your Children were still young.
He also took us to visit Mala in Brooklyn and also David Greenblatt when we rented a car on our way to see the Niagara falls.
After I met my wife and moved to France I used to call him quite often. It was after the lost of Teddy.
I think it was from the same mutual identification as People who leaved in the promised land and found themselves in a kind of exile in the the deaspora.
He told me that he was also with my grandfather Mordechai in the same working group in the camp, during our telephone calls.
I appreciated a lot our talks. Since I was older to understand certain things than of my first visit. I also read some books about the subject, and he could transmit a little bit of it to the younger generation.
As Rivka informed me, he was the last Mohican from this generation, and we need to thank him and all of them to survive and build for us a better life.
ישר כח לכולכם. יהי זכרו ברוך. אמן.
