Articles written about Naftali over the years.

After Naftali's passing, Chana Laks and her friend Debi Reece, wrote articles about life in Zmigrod based on memories of his reminiscing about the old country and the old ways.  These articles were published in the Jewish Local Pages, an advertising magazine distributed for free in the Orthodox Jewish community of Passaic-Clifton, New Jersey.  The articles were very well-received, perhaps because people craved an unfiltered, authentic account of Jewish life in Poland.

We referred to Naftali as Mr. Laks since using his first name would have been considered disrespectful in the Passaic Orthodox community.  The content of the articles is taken from the rest of the website but it is presented in a more readable fashion.
